Devices and transports
Devices participate through implemented clients and bridges, not a universal hardware discovery layer.
Laptop and phone
The laptop edge integrates audio and can host PC_LINK and camera publishing. The phone uses the private browser gateway. The brain may remain on an always-on host while a laptop disconnects.
Availability must be observed independently. A roster name, configured hostname or owner label is not a live connectivity signal.
Additional hardware
A smartwatch, room sensor or transparent display needs a real transport, authentication and adapter before it becomes an integrated device. The codebase does not currently supply a DIY-watch firmware or Wi-Fi people-localization system.
