Phone access

The HUD iPhone route starts a separate explicit voice session on the private gateway.

Safari workflow

Open the private HTTPS HUD over your tailnet and navigate to #/iphone. Connect voice, grant microphone permission, record an utterance and send it. The gateway returns transcription, reply text and sentence audio. Server-side speech providers need valid credentials.

This recorded-utterance path is not continuous character-by-character transcription while the microphone is recording. Voice sessions use protected cookies, origin checks and bounded audio messages.

Execution and history

Utterances reach the brain, which can route tools to connected laptop or host executors. The phone cannot make an offline executor reachable.

The HUD live history is a bounded in-memory buffer. Browser reconnection to the same gateway can retain it; restarting the gateway clears it. It is separate from the durable brain session store.
